QUESTION

 im new to car audio and i am very interested in getting more involved
 i drive a 1997 chevy s10 that is in the process of being made into a show 
 truck..i have a alpine remote con. cd player, two mtx 8"subs, two infinity 
 two way mids and two kenwood 6" mids. The subs are powered by a jbl pro 
 amp....in my opinion its sounds great but im new so i thoiught you might
 have some advice for me.....

       Hi Jon Oakes
 Thankyou for your interest. Your head unit is great (alpine is rated in
 the top 3 brands in the world). The MTX subs are good if you have the right
 amp powering them (not forgetting to find out from your local car audio
 store about the right size wire to run your amp as this is crucial).
 The Infinity are average, but over priced (KEEP THEM THOUGH),
 the Kenwoods (depending on age) throw out, not worth keeping, 
 the JBL amp will depend on its RMS rating to what you use it for.
 If you email me some power ratings I can give you some more advice.
 Sorry I have taken so long to answer you but I have lots of email to answer.
 Great choice of car (truck).
